Welcome! Sign up for one of our 2010 Summer Day Camps!
Mission Statement:
Pittsburgh Premier Soccer exists to instill in young players a love of the game of soccer. This is accomplished by creating a learning environment that is fun, energetic, and positive in nature. Each player is trained in individual skills, tactics and the importance of teamwork in order that they may develop to the fullest of their ability.
Our Philosophy:
Enjoying the experience of soccer is of the utmost importance. Without that, the game means nothing. We believe that soccer is more than just a sport – it is a chance to build relationships and develop character.

History:
Pittsburgh Premier started in 1999 - here's the Story: Kristin Griffin (Steffey) grew up playing soccer in the Sewickley area. After a successful college career at Ohio Wesleyan University, she was hired to be the Head Coach for Women's Soccer at Geneva College, at just 22 years old. She coached Geneva for 5 seasons, leading the team into a new era of success. Upon the birth of her first child, Kristin stepped away from Geneva and took the position as the Head Coach at Quaker Valley. in her 7 seasons, the team experienced ongoing success, with Section titles, appearances in Championship games, and 114 wins. Pittsburgh Premier Soccer Training started in 1999 when Kristin gathered 13 girls for a week of fun and learning. Over the years, the Summer Day Camp has expanded to include one week of "girls only" camp and one week of Coed training. Pittsburgh Premier is now regarded as the essential day camp in the area for kids to learn and grow in their love of soccer. In addition, PPST implemented a Spring Soccer School in 2006. Rather than focus on numbers (getting as many kids as on the field as possible), Pittsburgh Premier focuses on small clinics and camps to give each player plenty of individual attention. Coach Steffey lives in Leetsdale with her husband Mark and their three children.
